XC Schooling at SHF
Cross Country Schooling
Scarlet Hill Farm's beautiful Cross Country Course is open to riders (when the course is open) for schooling with jumps from Pre-Elementary to Preliminary levels, including ditches, banks, and water. We reserve the right to close the grounds if conditions are not suitable for riding.
We also offer an opportunity to ride without jumping. 60 acres of hilly hayfields, perfect for conditioning trot sets and gallops. We have a measured distance laid out so you can practice your pace (350, 450, and 520 MPM). Most areas are wide enough for carriage driving.
Conditioning (Non-Jumping) Season Pass: $150
Clinics & Pony Club
The course is also available for clinics and Pony Club. We are happy to set specific exercises as needed. Please contact us for special rates and availability.
We also host clinics and instructor certifications. In the past, we have held clinics with Scott Keach, Sharon White, Eric Smiley, Stephanie Baer, and Eric Horgan among others.
Purchase multi-ride passes. May be shared between riders. You must still sign up for a schooling time.
*** WINTER DISCOUNT - 5 trips for the price of 4! Ends at open of course!***
The field is closed for the winter, but we have started building new jumps for spring! To help fund the building, we are offering a discounted schooling pass, 5 trips for the price of 4 for $200. Passes may be shared between riders and are good as long as we offer schooling. Discount ends when we open the course in May.
WE HOPE TO OPEN THE XC COURSE BY MAY 1!
Scarlet Hill Farm's Cross Country Course is now closed to riders for the season and should be open in May.
